The deep moisture formula is enriched with Natural Moisturizing Factors that are found naturally in skin and immediately improves skin’s appearance. Intensive Repair Lotion is free of fragrances and dyes.

Introducing Urea

Urea is also produced naturally by the skin and is part of the essential Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) which regulates skin’s moisture content. Urea is hygroscopic, which means it is able to bind moisture into the outermost layer of skin, thus relieves itching and roughness, helping to fight dry skin symptoms. It is also keratolytic, meaning it improves natural exfoliation and soothes and smoothes the skin’s surface. As a substance produced naturally by the skin, Urea is well-tolerated even by dry and sensitive skin. Because all of these effects and very good study data, Urea is the gold standard in treating of dry skin.*

Nothing better for dry skin

I have severely dry skin (think snake skin or an elephants skin) and I’ve been using this for years. Yes, it’s expensive, but totally worth it. I recently ran out and let me tell you, it will NEVER happen again. My skin feels horrible without the moisture from this lotion. This lotion is very thick, but not sticky and that’s what I love about it. The Advanced Repair doesn’t work as well (for me), so I’ll stick to this for my entire life. And, there’s no smell (which is nice if have bad allergies to perfumy products).

I live in the dry climate of Colorado, am over 50 and post menopausal which means my skin is sooo dry. It is also VERY sensitive, exacerbated by retinoid use. This is the ONLY lotion I can use on my face at night that doesn't sting, and is ultra moisturizing. Don't spend over $100 on a designer face moisturizer. This is the best thing I've tried. Yes, it goes on thick and sticky, but then absorbs in and keeps my face hydrated all night without making me red or break out. It's my best kept beauty secret for just $10!

This lotion is a lifesaver! As I have entered my mid-twenties my skin is so unbelievably dry, and I have also developed allergies to a lot of fragrances/ingredients in other lotions I've tried. I use this on my face twice a day or more as needed, and it absorbs really quickly. The formula is quite thick and sticky, but I actually prefer this to runnier consistencies as I feel it covers and protects my skin better. I also have not had any issues with breaking out or allergies! My skin has become very glowy and soft after using consistently for about a year now!
